I love words, but lately I feel like I’ve been losing them. I believe Popeye’s fried chicken was created only to be eaten cold on a parade route. I read Entertainment Weekly the way some people read the Bible. I love to shop for yarn, but sometimes I never get around to the actual knitting. I miss snowballs more than I ever thought possible. I know I lived before iPods were invented but I simply can’t remember how. I love sugar, flour, and butter and I especially love when they come together to form a cupcake.

The name Formation of Me came to me one night after having some adult beverages. I had always wanted to write a book and decided that when I did it was going to be called Formation of Me. At the time the title made perfect sense, but so did having a few more shots. When I sobered up enough to realize I wasn’t going to write a book I figured I could at least have a blog. And that’s how it all began.

I know this site doesn’t load properly in internet explorer, a bunch of the side bar items get pushed to the bottom of the page. My only solution to this is to have the whole world download Firefox. Really, you need to go download it now. It’s free, it’s cool, and it’s way better than what you’re currently using.
